The Simpsons Movie was fab.  I laughed more in the first five minutes of the film than in the last five years of episodes.

 Reasons it was so great?  No awkward, grating celebrity performances, it wasn't overlong, and the animation was gorgeous.

 I want more though, and I can't wait to see it again.

Oh I love people who do that! (By 'love' I mean 'follow outside and bludgeon').

The showing we went to was fairly empty (us and ten others in the cinema's massivest screen) so I want to see it again on a busier night. It's going to be hard to time, not so late that everyone's at home, but not so early that it's full of kids!

Oh and in answer to your comment on my other post - I didn't get a scan. I think this doc must have magic eyes, 'cos he diagnosed what was going on in my head by looking at me, good glaven! I'm not even sure if he's referring me to the optho guys or I'm supposed to. Pffft. I seriously doubt I'm going back to work anyway, I've deteriorated so much over the last few weeks. I'm pissed off, because (as ever) if they'd done something about all of this when I first complained about symptoms returning, I too could be at work, hating it, but glad to be normal. Bloody NHS twats.

Hey-ho, I shall have to be a lady of leisure, and spend my time drinking gin and munching bonbons.
